Information for New Parents

At WGS, every pupil’s education is at the center of all that we do. Because we share a commitment to student success, we’ve created this page to support parents and guardians throughout their journey at Wockhardt Global School.

What is an IB education?

IB learners strive to become inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, openminded, caring, risk-takers, balanced and reflective. These attributes represent a broad range of human capacities and responsibilities that go beyond intellectual development and academic success. This is the IB’s educational philosophy. Assessment and results

In the Diploma Programme (DP for Age 16+) and Middle-Years Programme (MYP for age 11 to 16), the International Baccalaureate conducts examinations. The IB assessments give students the opportunity to demonstrate not just what they have learnt, but how they can apply this learning.

Testimonials

On the occasion of Teachers Day, I congratulate Team WGS for wonderfully managing the academic session 2020-2021 amidst sudden lockdown due to CORONA pandemic. The sincere efforts of all the teachers is really commendable. The dedication and professional attitude of whole team is quite amazing.
As a parent of the son who is studying in one of the best IB schools in Aurangabad, I would proudly say that IB is best as compared to any other curriculum. It is creating lifelong learners who are responsible, caring and open-minded citizens of the world. I am seeing, the IB curriculum takes a much more holistic approach to education. It feels great to observe that there is emphasis on Arts, Physical Education, Languages, Mathematics and Sciences. Moreover, It is making students to develop skills which will be useful in whatever field they choose. In my experience, IB education is more student friendly, prepares you for higher education abroad and truly makes you a caring, responsible and tolerant lifelong learner.

Ms Ira Deshmukh (PYP, Grade -1) my daughter is doing great at WGS. I have chosen this school for her since from nursery. I was in search of perfect school for my daughter when she was just 1 yr old and my search ends up with WGS. I never want the school where students run like marathon race but the school which can enhance to build up intellectual, emotional, personal and social skills of the student and make them to fit in the globalizing world. And of course WGS provides that matrix with International Baccalaureate (IB) program where enquiry based approach makes them to think and explore individually.

Indeed my daughter emerges very well in WGS since last 3 yrs. I can observe inquirer, thinker, caring and balanced learner profile attributes in her behavior. Moreover nature friendly classrooms with fully utilizing natural sunlight and natural air conditioning are the prominent characteristics of school infrastructure. Currently initially in virtual classes teachers made an emotional bonding with kids by arranging various activities for kids to get them well acquanted and creat interest in virtual learning. I am very glad to have my daughter as a part of WGS.

Thank you so much team WGS

Regards
Dr Mohini Y Deshmukh
